At Wine Street Dental Practice, our team knows that a mouth cancer screening could cause some nerves or anxiety among patients. You can rest assured, however, that when performing this screening we’ll be just as gentle and assiduous as ever.
The screening itself involves looking for any red or white patches in the mouth, any swelling or abnormalities in the mouth or neck, and any other sores that might cause concern. In some cases, a special light or dye might be used to help us detect and diagnose.
