We’ll only recommend extraction when absolutely necessary but some reasons why it might be deemed so include:
- Impacted or infected wisdom teeth.
- Damaged or decayed beyond repair teeth.
- Overcrowding.
Will the extraction be painful?
All extractions are performed under local anaesthetic so the patient won’t feel anything at the site being treated. You can expect to experience some pain after the treatment once the anaesthetic has worn off, but this can usually be treated with painkillers such as ibuprofen or paracetamol.
